Ugh! Whatever happened to quality control?!
Northern Star Company, a subsidiary of Minnesota-based Michael Foods Inc., is recalling a number of potato products, including their 20 oz. bags of Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Simply Potatoes Homestyle Slices and Simply Potatoes Red Potato Wedges, due to possible listeria contamination. The recalled items all have “use by” dates ranging from March 29 to April 3, 2009. Items were sold at Giant Foods and Stop & Shop locations from Virginia up to Maine, so stop and read the package before you dig into breakfast!
What? First peanut butter, and now potatoes? Oh the humanity!
