Starting on Monday, world-class dining at cash-saving prices comes to Las Vegas! Running August 31 through September 6, Restaurant Week provides diners with discounted menus, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Three Square Food Bank. Participating Vegas restaurants will offer prix fixe menus from three tiered price points: $20.09, $30.09 and $50.09.
Many hotels are getting into the Restaurant Week mix as well, offering accommodation and dining packages for Vegas visitors. The fabulous MGM Grand is offering deluxe accommodations and a tasting menu for two for just $159 at any one of their signature restaurants, including LβAtelier de Joel Robuchon, Michael Mina’s Nobhill Tavern, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, and Italian powerhouse FiAMMA.
The fantastic Bellagio (one of my faves) is offering an “Unforgettable Night” package that includes a ticket to Cirque du Soleil’s “O”, a prix fixe dinner menu at FIX or Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge, a complimentary drink at Caramel Bar & Lounge, and complimentary entrance to the nightspot The Bank, for just $178 per person.
In a nod to Julia Child, the Wynn and Encore chefs have created Child-inspired menu items for their restaurants, including Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare and Daniel Boulud Brasserie.
Mandalay Bay’s Aureole, Fleur de Lys, and Rick Moonen’s RM Seafood, are offering specially priced tasting menus as well.
Other participating Vegas restaurants include Bradley Ogden, Charlie Palmer Steak, Todd English’s Olives, and Rao’s Caesars Palace. For a complete list of participating restaurants, check out the Three Square site.
